Timbertwig and the Christmas Toast

Timbertwig and the Christmas Toast

Description

Peet Ellison’s Timbertwig makes another welcome return with his friends from Wiggly Wood in this sequel to Timbertwig’s Christmas Tree which appeared in the original Christmas Story Teller in 1983.

When Granny Knot throws Abigail out of the house (literally!), our favourite wand-wielding spider comes up with the ultimate plan to teach Granny Knot the true meaning of Christmas. Inspired by Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol classic story, Timbertwig and the Christmas Toast will make you laugh and warm your heart at the same time. It originally appeared on Peet’s official website and is made available here with his permission with an exclusive PDF and audio narration. You can stream the audio on the left or download below.

Lawton the Lion Learns to Sing

Description

Every animal in the zoo is excited when a Christmas pageant is announced. But there’s one problem: Lawton the Lion cannot sing! His friends rally around him to teach him but can he learn on time?

Lawton the Lion first appeared in STME 2020 in a popular poem. This full-length story was originally intended to appear in Christmas STME, but because of unforeseen circumstances, we could not include it in the final version. We are, however, very pleased to present the story here with the audio, complete with music and sound effects. You can stream it on the left or download below.

Lawton fans will be pleased to know that he will make his roaring comeback in the 2022 edition of STME!

Complete Colouring Pages for Christmas STME

Along with the PING! sound and its beloved and chirpy jingle, Story Teller is known for its colouring pages. Every issue of the original series had four pages in the centre featuring colouring pages inspired by the stories featured in that particular issue. This is a tradition that we have followed for STME. However, for the Christmas issue, our talented illustrators submitted so many colouring pages that we couldn’t include them all. As a treat, here they all are compiled in a 12-page PDF for you do download, print, and enjoy! Just click on the image and let the colouring fun begin …
